Captured by Grace Photography

Kelly Black is a passionate photographer of nature who credits to God her gift
of capturing images of His beauty in camera.

Kelly was born in Colorado in 1969.
Her love and appreciation for beauty in nature began at an early age when her father took the family
on weekend outings to the mountains for days of fishing in the lake and frolicking in the woods.

After living in the Denver area, Kelly's longing for returning to peace in the country
grew more intense with each passing year.
In July of 2009, she took a short excursion to Crested Butte to photograph wildflowers
during Crested Butte's annual wildflower festival.
It was during this trip when she discovered where her heart had always been,
and she thought to herself, 'My dream is to live here.'
Little did she know the plans God had for her:
Only one month later, her life changed as she made the move
to Gunnison country in August, and is now blessed
to enjoy life here as a nurse and photographer.
She calls Gunnison/Crested Butte a 'photographer's paradise'.

in being captured by His saving grace and also the means by which her images are captured:
It is only by His grace and guidance that she records images of His wondrous and amazing works.
It is her hope and prayer that those who see these images
may receive the same peace and blessings she experiences
while spending time capturing them.
